Tips & Tricks from Real Parents
Buy the 'Magic Pass' QR tickets via the app at 10:30 AM sharp — they're free but limited and save you from 60+ minute queues on popular rides.
The indoor Adventure floor has the most rides for little kids (ages 3-7). The outdoor Magic Island has the thrill rides. Plan accordingly.
The Gyro Drop outdoor tower is Seoul's version of a free-fall ride. Skip it if your kid scares easily — the 70m drop is no joke.
The Folk Museum in the basement is surprisingly excellent. Free with admission, air-conditioned, and has traditional games kids can play.
Go on a rainy weekday if you can. The indoor park is the perfect backup plan and crowds thin significantly.

A Real Parent's Story
Indoor adventure, outdoor meltdown
“The indoor section was perfect for our nervous 6-year-old. We made the mistake of pulling her onto the Gyro Swing outside. She didn't speak to us for an hour. Lesson learned.”

Lotte World Magic Island looked so fun from the gondola. We convinced our 6-year-old to try the Gyro Swing — 'It's just a big swing set, sweetie!' It swings 70m in the air at 90km/h. She screamed the entire time. Not a fun scream. A 'get me out of this nightmare' scream. She didn't talk to us for an hour after. The indoor Adventure section, though? She rode the undersea carousel five times. Stick to indoors for timid kids.
