Arrive at 7 AM sharp to catch the morning boat safari (1 hour). After 8:30 the birds quiet down and the heat picks up.
The boardwalk trail is 1.5 km and stroller-friendly. Skip the boat if your kid gets seasick — the boardwalk is equally good for bird spotting.
Combine with a visit to Old Goa churches (15-minute drive) for a perfect half-day that breaks up the beach routine.
Binoculars are provided on the boat tour. But if you have your own, bring them — the provided ones are basic and hard for small hands to focus.
