Tips & Tricks from Real Parents

1

Bring swimmers and towels. The waterslides and natural pools are the real draw for kids.

2

The Fijian crested iguana is critically endangered and Kula has a breeding program.

3

The parrot feeding session is hands-on. Kids can hold a perch while a lorikeet sits on their hand.

4

Pack reef-safe sunscreen. Fiji takes its reef protection seriously.

5

Combine with a Coral Coast resort stay—most hotels are a 10-15 minute drive away.

A Real Parent's Story

The waterslides saved us from the heat

Fiji heat hit us hard. Two hours in, the wildlife was interesting but the pool was calling.

We visited Kula on a 34-degree day. The wildlife sanctuary is lovely, but after 90 minutes the kids were melting. The waterslide complex was the saviour. We spent 3 more hours going down slides and swimming in the natural rock pools.
