Tips & Tricks from Real Parents

1

Buy the combination ticket (park + zoo + garden) — it's W5,000 cheaper than individual tickets and the zoo is worth 45 minutes.

2

The flower garden is best in April (tulips), June (roses), or November (chrysanthemums). Plan around the bloom calendar.

3

The 'Sky Lift' cable car gives amazing city views and skips 20 minutes of uphill walking with tired kids.

4

Pack a picnic. The park food is mediocre and overpriced. There are designated picnic areas near the central pond.

5

Wednesday and Thursday are dead quiet. Monday can be busy with school groups.

6

The annual rose festival (late May-early June) is spectacular but triple-check the crowds.

A Real Parent's Story

The perfect 'not too big, not too small' park

We could actually SEE our kids on every ride. No sprinting across a massive park. No losing anyone for an hour. The flower garden alone was worth the entrance fee.

We drove down from Seoul expecting a 'local Everland.' It's smaller, calmer, and honestly better for families with young kids. The zoo has lions, bears, and a petting zoo. The 'Alpine Coaster' (bobsled-style ride) was a hit with both kids. We spent 5 hours and covered everything without rushing.
