Tips & Tricks from Real Parents
The Bedugul area is 600m above sea level and much cooler than the coast. Bring a light jacket — you'll actually need it.
Start with the yellow (easy) course if your kids are under 8. The black (expert) course requires serious upper body strength.
Wear closed-toe shoes with good grip. Flip-flops are not allowed and they don't rent shoes.
Combine with the Bedugul Botanical Garden and Ulun Danu Beratan Temple for a full day in the highlands.
The drive from Kuta/Seminyak takes 1.5-2 hours. Leave by 7 AM to avoid traffic.
